Christmas Trees are for sale at the market!
The Christmas tree lot at the St. Paul Farmers' Market will be open this Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 7pm. There is a large selection of trees available of all sizes and prices. It's going to be mild weather which makes it great for taking your time and picking out the perfect tree.
Nick and Ben Wolcyn are twin brothers that have grown up in the tree business. They work full-time growing trees for landscaping, conservation planting and Christmas trees. The trees are grown 50 miles north of the metro area near Cambridge, MN. This is their 8th year selling trees at the St. Paul Farmer's Market which is home away from home from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Fresh trees are hauled down from Cambridge on a weekly basis.
Christmas tree sales are open 7 days a week. The hours are from 9am - 7pm on Saturdays/Sundays and from 12pm - 8pm Monday through Friday. They will have Balsam Fir, Canaan Fir, Fraser Fir, White Pine, Scotch Pine and Meyer Spruce available this season. Trees are from 4 feet to 18 feet in heights. Wreaths, garland, spruce tips and tree stands are also available. Their website is www.wolcyntreefarms.com. Nick, Ben and the rest of their staff enjoy coming down to St. Paul every year and spending time with the wonderful people of St. Paul.
